For all group classes, they will take place on Zoom. For private classes our teachers are flexible & can use other applications such as Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, or We Chat.

No, you don’t need to set up your own Zoom account to join our classes. All the necessary details to access the Zoom session will be emailed to you before the class, so you can easily join with just a click.

At Learn with a Native, students create their own timetable based on their own personal preferences.
Live online classes are scheduled throughout the day, every day. This means students can choose to study what they want when they want, subject to teacher availability.

A Flexi Pass (short for Flexible Pass) gives you monthly access to a range of classes that you can book around your schedule. We offer three options to fit different budgets and time commitments:
Bronze: Perfect if you want to join a few classes each month.
Silver: A balanced option with more classes to choose from.
Gold: Ideal for those looking for the most class access.

A Progress Plan is a personalised tool to track your learning progress. Updated weekly with test scores and feedback, it highlights key areas like grammar and pronunciation, helping you identify strengths and areas for improvement. This ensures that your lessons are tailored to your needs. The Progress Plan also serves as a helpful resource for reviewing progress and preparing for exams or revisiting important topics.

Every month, students will have a 10-minute private tutorial with their teacher. During this session, your Progress Plan will be reviewed, and you'll have the opportunity to discuss any feedback or concerns. Together with your teacher, you'll set weekly targets to ensure you’re making the most of your classes and staying on track with your learning goals.

There will be a minimum of two and a maximum of five students in our group classes. This allows everyone plenty of opportunity to practise their speaking skills and creates a great environment for sharing ideas and working together.

How long you should study English online depends on your individual goals. If you're looking to improve specific skills like business English or pass an exam, it might take a few months of consistent learning. For those aiming for fluency, we typically recommend 2-5 months, but it varies. For faster progress, we offer intensive courses. Remember, your effort, homework, and attendance play a big role in how quickly you’ll see results!

Yes, all students receive an official certificate of completion upon finishing their course. This certificate recognises your achievements and can be used to showcase your English skills for personal, academic, or professional purposes.

You can pay for your classes or course online using a credit or debit card, or via Google Pay, Apple Pay, PayPal, and Union Pay. We also accept payments through Wise and other payment apps, subject to suitability.

Absolutely! You can sign up with a friend or family member, and we offer referral discounts when you do.

2. Respect and Cultural Awareness
We foster a friendly and inclusive learning environment. Students are expected to show respect to both teachers and fellow learners, embracing diverse perspectives and cultural backgrounds.
3. Punctuality
Please arrive on time for all scheduled classes. If you anticipate any delays or absences, kindly notify us as soon as possible. We will do our best to accommodate changes or reschedule classes, subject to availability.
4. Active Participation
A positive and proactive approach to learning is encouraged. Students should actively participate in class discussions, ask questions, and share their experiences to enhance the learning process.
5. English Immersion
We encourage you to use English as your primary mode of communication whenever possible. Immerse yourself in the language through regular reading, writing, watching English media, and joining our conversation classes and events.
6. Homework and Self-Motivation
Timely completion of homework and tasks is important, but self-motivation is the key to real progress. Each student’s journey is unique, and we encourage you to take ownership of your learning process.
7. Embracing Feedback
Feedback from teachers is an opportunity for growth. Students should welcome constructive feedback and use it to refine and improve their language skills.
8. Tracking Progress
Regularly monitor your language development using your personal Progress Plan. Set realistic and achievable goals to stay on track and celebrate your growth.
9. Cross-Cultural Learning
Our diverse community is a valuable resource. Learn from your peers and teachers, who come from various regions of the UK, exposing you to a range of British accents and cultural insights.
10. Technology and Connectivity
Ensure you have a reliable internet connection and basic technological skills to navigate the online learning platform smoothly. This will help you make the most of your classes without interruptions.

In addition to personalised 1-to-1 monthly tutorials, you will have access to academic support via email and WhatsApp throughout your course. We also offer academic counselling services to provide guidance on topics such as study strategies, applying to universities, or studying abroad.

We understand that sometimes things happen, and you may not be able to attend a class. If this is the case, please inform us at least 24 hours in advance, and we’ll do our best to reschedule your session, subject to availability. This applies to both private and group classes.
